Miss Galaxy Ghana, an advocacy-driven beauty pageant, empowers young Ghanaian women to become leaders of change, focusing on environmental sanitation and climate action. Emerging as the runner-up, Josephine used the platform to amplify her voice on issues she deeply cares about. This was the spark that ignited her journey into climate activism.
A Prominent Youth Climate Activist
Today, Josephine is recognized as a prominent youth climate activist and WASH Ambassador in Ghana. Her involvement in various conferences and events underscores her dedication to the cause. She has been an active participant in significant gatherings such as the SDG Summit 2024, hosted by the President of Ghana, the Solar Africa Conference, and the REPower Africa event. Each of these platforms provided Josephine with the opportunity to advocate for climate action and environmental sustainability, further establishing her as a leading voice among Ghana's youth.
Dream Hunt Ghana: Empowering the Next Generation
Josephine's commitment to environmental sustainability extends beyond her personal advocacy. She is an integral member of Dream Hunt Ghana, a non-governmental organization supporting Ghana's sustainable development. Through Dream Hunt, Josephine and her team work tirelessly to empower students to become environmental advocates.
