North Wales Police: Four missing teens last seen on Sunday

| Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris have been missing since 19 November

A police search has been launched for four teenagers who have been missing since Sunday morning.

Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris, believed to be from Shrewsbury, are thought to have been travelling in the Harlech and Porthmadog areas of Gwynedd.

They were last seen in a silver Ford Fiesta, registration HY14 GVO, police said.

North Wales Police has appealed for any sightings to be reported.

A coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon searched the area north east of Porthmadog, at 04:30 GMT on Tuesday but has since returned to its base.

Mountain rescue teams said they were searching for the car used by four teenagers.

Chris Lloyd, chairman of the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team, said teams had spent yesterday searching the car parks looking for their vehicle.

Mr. Lloyd said: "We were called out by North Wales Police early yesterday afternoon.

"Our first job was to look for any indication they were on the mountain.

"We deployed two or three teams to drive around all the carparks. We cannot find the car. We are still actively looking for it and are continuing to search. We don't have specific area where to search."
